About Keyword Density Analyzer

The Keyword Density Analyzer counts how often a word or phrase appears in your text and what share of the total words it makes up. It is a quick sanity check that a page is clearly about its topic without repeating the same phrase unnaturally.

How to use it

  1. Paste the body text of your page or article.
  2. Enter the keyword or phrase you want to check.
  3. Review the number of occurrences, the total word count and the density percentage.

Good to know

  • Matching ignores capitalization, and multi-word phrases are matched as a whole, word by word.
  • Density is the number of words taken up by the keyword divided by the total number of words.
  • There is no ideal density figure. Search engines reward text written naturally for readers, and heavy repetition can read as keyword stuffing.

Common questions

What density should I aim for?

Rather than a target number, make sure the main topic is mentioned where it naturally belongs, such as the title, the opening and relevant headings.

Does it count plural forms?

No. It matches the exact words you enter, so "tool" and "tools" are counted separately. Check each variation on its own.
