About FAQ Schema Generator
The FAQ Schema Generator creates FAQPage structured data in JSON-LD format from your questions and answers. Structured data helps search engines understand that a page contains a list of questions with answers.
How to use it
- Enter the first question and its answer.
- Use + Add Question to add more pairs.
- Copy the generated JSON-LD.
- Paste it into your page inside a script tag of type application/ld+json.
Good to know
- The questions and answers in the markup should match what visitors can actually read on the page.
- Google currently shows FAQ rich results only for a limited set of authoritative sites, so the markup may not change how your result looks. It still describes your content accurately.
- Validate the finished page with Google's Rich Results Test before relying on it.
Common questions
Where on the page does the JSON-LD go?
It can go in the head or the body. It is not displayed to visitors, so placement does not affect your layout.
Can I use it for questions users ask each other?
No. FAQPage is meant for questions answered by the site itself. Community question-and-answer pages use a different schema type.
