About Aspect Ratio Calculator
The Aspect Ratio Calculator works with the proportions of images, videos and screens. It reduces dimensions such as 1920×1080 to a simple ratio like 16:9, or finds the height that matches a given width so a ratio is kept when resizing.
How to use it

Common questions
What height does a 1280-wide 16:9 video need?
720 pixels. Use Solve a dimension with a 16:9 ratio and a known width of 1280.
Why does my screen show an odd ratio like 8:5?
Some displays use 16:10, which reduces to 8:5. The calculator always reduces a ratio to its simplest form.
