About QR Code Generator
The QR Code Generator turns a link or any short text into a QR code that phone cameras can scan. Use it on posters, menus, business cards, packaging and slides to send people to a website, a Wi-Fi note or a sign-up form without typing.
How to use it
- Enter the text or URL you want the code to contain.
- Choose an error correction level: Low, Medium, Quartile or High.
- Check the preview by scanning it with your phone.
- Click Download PNG to save the image.
Good to know
- Higher error correction lets a code still scan when part of it is damaged or covered, for example by a logo, but it makes the pattern denser.
- Longer content produces a more complex code. If the text is too long to fit, the tool asks you to shorten it or lower the error correction level.
- Codes generated here are static and never expire, because the content is stored in the pattern itself rather than behind a redirect.
Common questions
Will my QR code stop working?
No. The content is encoded directly into the image, so it keeps working as long as the link or text it contains is still valid.
How big should I print it?
A common rule of thumb is at least 2 by 2 centimeters for close-range scanning, and larger for posters viewed from a distance. Always test a printed copy.
