About Delete Pages
Delete Pages removes the pages you do not want from a PDF and gives you a cleaner copy. It is useful for dropping a blank scan, removing a cover sheet or an attachment page, or trimming a document before sharing it.
How to use it
- Add the PDF you want to edit.
- In Pages to delete, enter the pages to remove, such as 1-3, 5, 7-9.
- Click Generate.
- Download the shortened PDF.
Good to know
- You cannot delete every page. If your selection would leave nothing, the tool stops and asks you to adjust it.
- Page numbers refer to the position in the file, starting at 1, not to any printed page numbers on the pages themselves.
- The original is left untouched, so you can always start again from the same file.
Common questions
Does deleting pages permanently remove their content?
The new file is built without those pages, so their content is not in the copy you download. Keep the original if you might need them again.
What if I only want to keep a few pages?
Use the Split PDF tool instead. Listing the pages to keep is quicker than listing everything to delete.
