About Round Image Corners
Round Image Corners gives an image soft, rounded corners with a transparent background behind them. It is a quick way to style avatars, app screenshots, product cards and slides without opening a design app.
How to use it
- Add an image using the file picker or by dragging it in.
- Set the corner radius in pixels. The default is 24.
- Click Generate.
- Download the rounded image.
Good to know
- The result is always saved as a PNG so that the corners can be transparent.
- A larger radius gives a rounder look. For a circular avatar, start from a square image and use a radius of half its width.
- Because transparency needs PNG, the output file can be larger than an original JPEG.
- Your image is processed by your browser on your own device. It is never uploaded to a server.
Common questions
Why are the corners white or black in some apps?
The corners are transparent, and apps that do not support transparency fill them with a solid color. Place the image on a background that matches your page to hide this.
Can I make a circle?
Yes, if the image is square. Set the radius to half of the side length, for example 250 for a 500 by 500 image.
